What Is A Dynamic Website
Dynamic websites make creating, editing, and managing content a breeze. They provide a back-end interface for editors of a website to have control over all of the content that is on their website. This means that you don’t need to know how to write a single line of code to make regular updates to your site.
In more technical terms, this type of system is normally referred to as a Content Management System (CMS). You may have heard of these before, but if not, keep reading to see how a CMS can make your website more efficient and effective.
A CMS In Action
The site that you are on right now is managed by a CMS called TextPattern. It is 100% free, and very easy to use if set up properly.
The only section that we need to worry about updating often is the Portfolio section. When we make an update to that section, we usually have all kinds of images that we have to manage and display throughout the site, but we have setup our CMS to make this easy.
For Example…
The images on our homepage are randomly generated and change each time the page is loaded. Our CMS also takes these images and creates a thumbnail image that is displayed on our Portfolio page so that we only need to upload a single image, and it will display it on multiple pages, and make the images link back to the portfolio piece on that client.

There’s a lot more a CMS can do, and there’s a lot more under the hood that our website does as well. Whether it’s a redesign, a brand new build, or transferring over your current website, we can build a website that you will have total control over. Get in touch to learn more.
