5 People from Green Bay You Should Follow on Twitter
Have you ever scrolled through your Twitter feed only to find 10 Tweets in a row all from the same person, each one saying something progressively less substantial. Or you go through the list of people you follow and find that you didn’t even know about half the people you followed because they never tweet!
It’s easy to follow people on Twitter, all it takes is a click of a button. The downside of that is, you may end up following a lot of duds who provide you with very little value. Who has time to scroll through hours worth of tweets just to find that one gem that teaches you something and is worthy of a Retweet? This Thursday we’re getting a head start on #FF (Follow Friday), with a list of 5 of our favorite local people or organizations to follow on Twitter.
1. @greenbaychamber

The Green Bay Chamber of Commerce (http://twitter NULL.com/#!/greenbaychamber) is an organization whose purpose is to spur local economic growth and development. To get the low-down on events happening in Green Bay, follow The Green Bay Chamber of Commerce. We promise you’ll never miss out on a networking or social event again.
2. @ninanolan

Nina Nolan (http://twitter NULL.com/#!/ninanolan) works for St. Norbert College and is, in our opinion, a social media expert. She doles out great advice and links to useful resources for anyone looking for ways to improve their social media presence. She is also very well-connected and provides updates on happenings around the community.
3. @BFTrick

Patrick Rauland (http://twitter NULL.com/#!/BFTrick) is a local web developer working for Burnham Richards . Patrick shares tips, useful to both fellow web developers and anyone who maintains their own website. But it’s not all business with @BFTrick, his non-web related tweets are pretty interesting too!
4. @danavan

Dana Vandenhouvel (http://twitter NULL.com/#!/danavan) is an entrepreneur out of Green Bay who specializes in marketing. Not only does he consult and provide marketing services for local businesses, he also holds classes and webinars teaching the best practices for social media marketing.
5. @downtownGB

Stay in the loop by following Downtown Green Bay (http://twitter NULL.com/#!/DowntownGB). Their focus is on building up the Green Bay community by promoting all of the events happening downtown. Make your event known to DowntownGB and you can bet they’ll make sure you have a great turnout.
These are just a few of the local people we enjoy following on Twitter. There are many more out there worth following so we’ll be sure to share more with you in future posts. If you have your own local Twitter Heros be sure to let us know!
