What Makes a Good Logo?

A quality logotype must be able to convey a strong message without being too complicated. More often than not with logos, less means more. A bold and memorable design must be recognizable and legible at any size and must be just as effective in black and white as it is in color. It is, after all, one of the most important parts of your identity, the face of your brand.

File Types are Important

All of our logo packages include the original vector Adobe Illustrator file. To put it simply, vector files are based on mathematical calculations instead of points or pixels, as raster images are. This allows your logo to be stretched to any size while retaining its original quality. Vector files are essential to most printers and allow the logo to be utilized in a much wider range of applications, from business cards and t-shirts to vehicle decals and store-front signs. Of course, we also provide you with the logo in any other format that you may require as well, at no additional cost.

Our Design Process

While many designers simply create logos with reusable components from their graphics library, we create custom logos from scratch to ensure that your brand is represented by a truly original image. We begin our process by having you complete a short but informative questionnaire, which allows us to get to know about you, your style, and your competition. We then research, brainstorm, and sketch out some rough ideas before moving on to digital concepts. These are then sent to you to review and leave feedback, and if additional revisions are required then we make the necessary changes and send you updates. Once the final design is approved we send you all of the files that you require.
